Richards Backwoods Camp

Friday
It all started off like a normal day until the message arrived (all MI6 agents report for duty.) We all gather in mygarage while we waited for or transport. Once we had packed all our gear we headed out into the unknown.
During the journey we brushed up on our observation skills by listening to music and identifying the names off thesongs. We also had to look out for certain car makes. This became harder once it started to rain.
Upon arriving at the drop off we were lead to our base camp. We unloaded and set about making supper. Once theboerewors rolls and ultra mal was gone we ended the day off in true secret agent style, playing cards.
Saturday
Once we woke up we spent the morning getting ready for our mission to find and destroy the terrorist base. Whenour transportation was ready we made our way out but it wasn’t even 20m and we had to stop and change a flat. Then we headed out towards the spot where we informed the terrorists would be. In order to continue to the basewe needed to solve two tracking stories.
But then disaster struck our transport who was just a few 100 meters up the road was ambushed and they had toevacuate the area. We were on our own. Then a car came screaming past, it was the terrorists. We then proceededin following them along the road collecting items that they threw out the windows to help us survive.
We then went down to a dam to learn about survival. We purified water using a clay filter and iodine drops. We thenmade shelters and fire using flint. Once our shelters were done we swam and chilled till supper time.
Supper consisted of fish, onion, green peppers and tomatoes. Since we didn’t have any cooking equipment we cooked the fish on a bed of reeds.
We then received a radio call that our unit was to report to a barn just 200m from the dam. Once we arrived atthe barn we found a GPS transmitter with directions to the terrorist base. We arrived at the base and had to scoutaround to find an entrance point. The base was filled with terrorist and we had to be careful to make sure that weweren’t spotted. We decided that jumping the fence behind the oak tree was the best way in. but we hadn’t seenthe duck pound at the bottom of the fence and Tyron processed to swim with the webbed feet friends. Once wewere all in, we kidnap the smallest terrorist and forced him to tell us where the power cells were.
We then retreated to our dam and let the terrorist go.
Sunday
The next morning we awoke and had breakfast of boiled eggs and oats. We had to do this in the empty power cells. The rest of the morning we chilled out and did some badge work. At 12 we packed up and were transported backhome.
